Match Rules

  • All participants are allowed to go as any character they want.
  • Every match are best-of-3 sets (win 2 games in the set to win) until Top 3
  • For Top 3 (Winners Finals, Loser Finals, Grand Finals), matches are best-of-5 sets (win 3 games in the set to win)
  • For Grand Finals, if the person coming from the Losers side of bracket wins, a rematch set will occur to declare the final winner.

  • Time Limit: 7 minutes
  • FS Meter: Off
  • Spirits: Off
  • Damage Handicap: Off
  • Items: Set to None and all items off

Advanced Rules

  • Stage Morph: Off
  • Stage Hazards: Off (All stages will be played hazardless)

Stage List

Starter Stages:

  • Battlefield (All Battlefield form stages are acceptable)
  • Final Destination (All Omega/Final Destination form stages are acceptable)
  • Smashville
  • Pokemon Stadium 2
  • Yoshi's Island (Brawl)

Counterpick Stages:

  • Lylat Cruise
  • WarioWare, Inc.
  • Kalos Pokemon League
  • Town and City

Stage Striking

  1. Both players play Rock-Paper-Scissors or use some kind of coin toss to decide who strikes first (Player A will be the one who won while Player B will be the one that did not).
  2. For game 1, only starter stages can be selected. Counterpick stages are banned for game 1.
  3. Player A bans 1 stage from starter stage list.
  4. Player B bans 2 stages from starter stage list.
  5. Player A bans 1 stage from starter stage list so that there is one remaining stage left.
  6. Both players play game 1.
  7. After game 1, counterpick stages are now selectable.
  8. The winner of game 1 gets to ban 2 stages from the entire stage list.
  9. The loser of game 1 picks any stage from the starter or counterpick lists as long as the stage was not banned by the winner of game 1.
  10. If the winner of game 1 wants to switch characters, he/she must state to the loser of games 1 before the loser considers switching character.
  11. Both players play game 2.
  12. If more games are needed, repeat from step 7 and on.
